Double Duty – Rugged
The first time I worked with a welder I could not believe how much it stunk. That pungent combination of Friction disks, oil, paint, rust, cigarette smoke and the smell of 6011 rod being burnt… it was off putting at first. But I grew to love it. Now several years latter my shop has a lingering smell of Mig wire, Gear oil, new tires and friction disks. With a note of Coffey in the background. The Masculine scent of men working. This soap smells nothing like that.

Fishing hooks scare me. The thought of having one in my skin and then being required to double-down and push the hook through my body to get it out, does not sit well with me. I am not sure why. I own many dangerous tools, some of them, I have actually used. But the thought of making a situation worse before it gets better must speak to me on a deep level. Regardless, I have been fishing and have even caught a couple of fish... and when I asked people that have taken me how I will know if I have caught a fish they usually answer with: “You will just know when there is a fish on your line.” Well, this scent is like that. I don't know why it smells rugged... but it just kinda does.
