Once known as Calgary’s working-class Little Italy; Bridgeland is now home to a wide range of cultures, and everything from artists to CEOs. Independent businesses thrive in this unique residential pocket that is highly walkable and bicycle friendly. Bridgeland’s main park with a stunning view of downtown Calgary was the site of the Calgary General Hospital until it was demolished in the 1990s.
If that sounds like a pretty cool place to work and live, then you are correct. That is why Bailey Built makes soap here. Because it’s rad. Why spend hours driving to a job you don’t like when you can handcraft soap in a place a stone’s throw from the house you grew up in. I’m getting misty just thinking about it… or maybe that’s the soap fumes.
Our handmade Canola and lard soap is proudly manufactured in and shipped from Calgary, Alberta Canada. If you live nearby we might even be able to swing by your place and hand deliver your new handmade soap. We’ll drive to Red Deer or Lethbridge if you order in bulk, but Edmonton will definitely be good ole Canada Post.
